We celebrated Christmas on Sun Dec 19 with Matts parents because they were heading to GA to be with Matts brother and family for Christmas. We went out to dinner and exchanged gifts afterward. Here is Matts parents with Jos!

Wow what a Christmas this year.. It was so special to me because we had our daughter to share it with!! :) It gives Christmas a whole new meaning having a child.. She was alot of fun. She was very excited with all the colors and lights. She loved presents and even helped unwrap them! We would rip a piece for her to grab and she'd grab on and pull. She is 5 months old now and is growing like a weed. She is in the 95th percentile in height. A month ago, at her last appt, she weighed 14.5 pounds and was 27 inches. 2 more inches and her carseat is considered to small for her. So now we are probably only an inch from having to buy a new carseat! Surprising since neither us or our families have any heighth.. She is getting great dexterity and is reaching and grabbing for everything. Of course, everything is going straight to her mouth! We think she is possibly teething already.. She had a couple of bad days last week, where she got a random fever, was screaming, has been slobbering for a couple weeks now, hands in the mouth, and just wasnt herself. We gave her tylenol and put baby orajel on her bottom teeth and she was okay.. The one side is whiter than the other as well. Ooooh let the fun of teething begin! Yikes, not going to be fun for her OR us! haha. For Christmas, she sure got alot of toys and clothes.. She is a very loved little girl.. She got quite a few toys, lots of clothes, handmade blankets and quilt, earrings, keepsake boxes, books, bath toys, frosty build a bear, stuffed animals, blocks, and so much more! Matt and I also had very nice Christmas's. I gave him a shirt, beanie, belt, wallet, xbox adapter thing, helicopter and a travel coffee mug with pics of him and Josie on it, that said Worlds Greatest Daddy 2010. He loved it all I think! :) The mug was from Josie! He gave me (he broke the 'keep it cheaper this year' rule.. which made me feel bad) a new laptop, an external hard drive and a digital picture frame! He wayyyy over did it. I wanted an external hard drive to put all of my pictures, documents, videos, music, etc off of my computer onto it, so that when my computer of 8 years old dies, I wouldnt lose all of it! My mom gave us a Waterproof, fireproof safe and I will put it in there to keep safe! It was a really nice Christmas.
We took our tree down yesterday. Tired of the mess of all the Christmas stuff. So after Matt got off of work, we teamed up and de-Christmas-tized our house. It didnt take too long and it feels so much better, less cluttery now that its all put away.
Last week, we were going to go downtown and go on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Josie was not doing so well and we thought she was sick (come to find out it was the teething incident). So we did not go but decided we will still go soon! We recieved quite a few gift cards to dinner, so we are going to go out to dinner, and then go downtown for a stroll around the city! Sounds nice to me! That is going to be our new family tradition. The first one that Matt, Jos and I make! But we are going to do it before Christmas for the next times! I look forward to it for years to come!!
