Josies first birthday!!
Here are pictures from Josies party! I wrote a long blog but I cant seem to move it from the bottom of this post to the top.. So be sure to read it after you look at all the cute pictures :) Enjoy!!!!!
Her first birthday couldnt have been better!! I put so much hard work into making it perfect and it was better than perfect!!!! She was so cute and loved it all. She didnt dive into her smash cake like I had hoped, but thats okay. She was WAY cute opening presents! she made the cutest little faces and was so into her presents! I did her party in Mickey and Minnie decor! Mickey and Minnie decorations, confetti, I bought all the kids mickey mouse ears, paperware, sooo much Mickey! We had her party on Sunday July 31st at an indoor pavilion ( I was worried about the horrible heat in July) and ironically enough, it rained!! So thank goodness that I did the party indoors! I had her big cake made by Reams (they did my wedding cake too) and it was DELISH! I made her smash cake myself and had alot of fun making it. I bought Matt and I Mickey Mouse shirts. Josie had a minnie mouse dress. I made her minnie mouse hair bows. My family was so wonderful to help out.. My mom brought a tuna salad, my mother in law brought a pasta salad, my aunt claire brought veggies and matts aunt annie brought a fruit salad. We ordered two 6-foot sandwiches and a 4-foot sandwich! Total of 80 sandwiches. I invited 80 people (that was IMMEDIATE family only. crazy huh!) I wanted to invite a couple of my 2nd cousins that Im close to, but I had to draw the line at immediate family. We have enormous families. And believe it or not, 71 of those 80 showed up! We throw good parties, we always have a good turnout lol. Josie got a lot of nice gifts! My sister Nat MADE her a blanket. It was soooooo special to me! She got alot of clothes! Lots of toys! books! and so much more :)
