Update on our house!

We are on Day 33 of our home build! Its coming right along. Josie is talking more and more each day. She has even pottied in the big girl toilet quite a few times. I think she may be potty trained sooner than I expected. Josie and I watched Tyler this week one day and we loved it. Josie loves him so much, its adorable! She loves to take care of him! I wish we could have a baby now, but I know its a bad time, living at my moms, waiting for our house to be built. I just have to be patient. Im kind of at a lost for what to write tonight. Im really tired, so my brain isnt working. I will go give Josie a bath and call it a night. Enjoy the newest pictures :) Goodnight, Love you all!

Summer 2012

We have been VERY busy lately!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could have blogged as the summer has progressed because so much has happened. But I am going to put lots of pictures in this blog! We sold our house in 30 hours of putting it on the market for full price! We are currently building a new house and are having fun watching it go up! They broke ground on July 30! We are currently living at my mom and dads house until our house is finished. They are telling us it is looking to be done around the first to mid-December. Natalie had her baby on July 30 (the same day they broke ground on our house lol)!!His name is Tyler Steven Prows! He is so beautiful. I cant get enough of him. Kyrie is a very proud big sister!!!!! She loves him and helps her mommy out so much. She just turned 5 yesterday and starts kindergarten next week! Wow where did the time go.. Josie had her first ER visit this summer. Im surprised she made it past her 2nd birthday for her first big boo boo, so I was glad. But she stepped on a patio decoration in my moms back yard and cut her 4th toe IN the crease.. Really deep cut, but they couldnt stitch it or glue it due to the site of the cut.. So we just kept it cleaned and wrapped it and it healed wonderfully! We had A LOT of visitors this summer! It was ALOT OF FUN to see everyone! :) Matts brother, sister in law and their adorable kids were here for a month! it was wonderful getting to spend so much time with them! We met our baby twin nieces finally as well! Oh my, they are Adorable! We did alot of fun stuff with them while they were here. Here is a list of the other people who came into town: Family friends Milt and Diane; Our very good friends from Arizona, Cameron and Jo; My step mom Rose and her husband Jeff; My biological dad and his new wife, he met Josie for the first time, that was a nice time!; My great uncle Dick and Aunt Linda from New England; Their daughter Sue and her cute family; Matts cousin Annmarie and her family, Matts Uncle Bruce and Aunt Sharon from Portland; Matts uncle Robert and Aunt Glenna from Portland, Oregon too; Matts Aunt Marilynne from Southern Utah. We were non-stop busy visiting and going out to do things with everyone! They all came in a row, it was pretty interesting how well it worked out! Josie turned 2 years old! Time has flown! She is getting so big and she is so incredibly smart! I am such a proud mom. (Get ready for some bragging!) She is so sweet and caring towards people and animals. She loves hugs and kisses.. she LOVES my brothers Cat Chevy! She snuggles with him all the time! She loves her baby doll and rocks her and covers her with her blankie.. She shares pretty well for a 2 year old. She is talking better, has quite a few words. She is such a girly girl and lets me do her hair everyday.. She says "SHOES" and picks out a different pair of shoes everyday. Yet on the other hand, she is such a KID! She loves to get dirty and play in the dirt. She is an ADRENALINE junkie.. Its hilarious. We went to Snowbird this summer and she rode the Alpine slide with me and GIGGLED her little heart out! We went to the carnival and I took her on the ferris wheel and she once again laughed sooo hard! I took her on that big huge slide that you sit on potato sacks and put her on my lap, She LOVED IT! She kept trying to go back up the stairs to it, we had to buy MORE tickets so we could ride it again! And keep in mind, her dad didnt ride any of the rides, her adrenaline junkie mom took her. I must have rubbed off on her! Now to the bad news of the summer... On July 30 (yes this was a very eventful day for us..), my sister Pbyllis was at work (which is my work) and she texted me that "Legacy (our work) was on fire".. I turned on the news and sure enough LEGACY VILLAGE had an electrical fire in the attic.. 2 alarm fire! It happened at 6:05 which is shift change, so we had DOUBLE the staff since they were all giving report to eachother! They evacuated the building in a very fast, professional manner since we had so many staff members there. But our building was a lost.. The fire itself didnt do a ton of damage, it was more of the sprinklers and smoke damage that caused our brand new 2 year old building to be condemned . So here we are building a new house and I am temporarily out of work! I have another job that I am a "PRN" (As needed help) so I get a few hours here and there but not enough to qualify for the house! We were qualified on my Legacy hours and rate. Our mortgage lender had my work write a letter stating the situation to help us still get the home loan. He says we should be fine since I am guaranteed my job back along with my hours and wage. They are currently rebuilding my work and it should be up and running about the time our house is done lol
